So basically, I went back to check out my site to find that there were over 3500 users, and I doubt that at least 8 of them were genuinely there for me. This is mainly because I lazily put together a PHPNuke site and hell followed. The day that I erased the site, there had been 14 new users (all spammers) by 1:30 pm, which is pretty impressive to me. If only I had found a way to capitalize on the traffic. Either way the site was completely useless at that point and I was using 5 GB/mo with little content up and on some days even bringing in 900 MB worth of traffic. I assume some of that was google crawling through projects I had hosted up for friends over the years, but thats mostly cleaned up as well now.
Since that I have completely wiped the entire site and put up a wordpress because I figure I might actually use it. I really don’t expect much, but I will do it anyways.
I have been told that I should post the random shit I send out to people because it ends up as a storm of IMs waiting to be read and in most cases I assume, leaves them not wanting to read the essays of otherwise useless information I put along to them. I assume there will be no specific scope of these links and posts, but you can assume they are in my interests. And by my interests you can assume the subject of the posts will mostly be about cars, computers, gaming, cool science and music. Anwyays enjoy.
